Very convenient. We especially enjoy the "50% off" tickers they put on fresh products every evening - a great way to save a couple bucks o groceries!

This is the worst Superstore I've been in... I've lived in NB and NS, and have been a regular customer of Superstore at at least 6 locations. In Saint John, NB, I shopped Superstore at least 5 times per week for the job I had at the time. The Rothesay Ave. Superstore is stellar. In Truro, not quite the same story...Crazy parking lot that's hard to navigate, let alone find a parking spot. Way too many handicapped parking spots that never seem to be used much--at least not legitimately.

If you're lucky enough to make it inside--and you're a sale shopper like me--you're more than likely to find bare shelves of sale items. Either that, or you'll find only 2-3 products and they'll tell you that's it for the day. I should mention that the employees I've dealt with there have been very nice and helpful. The store is clean.

If you manage to find all you want and are ready to pay, expect a long line-up with a bunch of closed check-outs. If you want to hurry through and go to the self-checkers, they no longer will give cash back, or accept cash payments.

If you're making a quick stop, forget it. Because of the problems I mentioned, that's usually just not possible.

I stopped in on Tuesday night after work to pick up a few things for the dinner I planned to make. I picked up 3 things, side-stepped around a bucket in one aisle collecting rainwater--and went to pay (I also needed cash back, so the self-checkers weren't an option. I was in a hurry and my arms were full since there were no baskets in the bin and I didn't bother with a cart. I just wanted to run in, run out. Well, dinner would have had to wait till midnight if I decided to brave the huge line-ups. I just didn't have the patience at that time of day! I ditched my products on a shelf and went to the bank for the cash I needed. I improvised a decent dinner and we ate probably while some of those people were still standing in line!!

We like to stop in some Friday nights for the rotisserie chicken, tenders, etc. They never disappoint. However, for months on end, they were down to 1 fryer (and many times, only 1 person working in that area). Fresh chicken tenders and wedges just didn't happen (it's either-or). The line is long. If not, it's because the wait for the food to cook is too long... Superstore chicken is on our menu for tonight since we're on the go, but it's not the Truro Superstore where we'll pick it up, but Amherst. That's a really nice Superstore. Decent parking, good size store, never saw empty shelves, and the hot food section is always well-stocked and fully-staffed.

Last night, I intended to do my shopping for the week and get in on some points promos (I adore PC Plus!), then I'd use my cents-off coupons and fill the gas tank. Nope. No parking available. Very very frustrating!! It's the Amherst Superstore on radar for me tonight for gas and groceries, although the Truro Superstore is literally 4 minutes away from where I work.

I think the bottom line is that the Truro Superstore is too small for this area. I'll still shop there, but i'm not gonna like it....

Decent selection. Not as much as a large one in the big city though.
